Titanium Scrap Briquetting Press

Enerpat briquetting machines and supporting systems make titanium chip recycling easier, so you no longer need to spend a lot of time or labor on handling them. The pressed titanium briquettes have high density and low oil content, helping you extract more value from the scrap to the greatest extent.

Don’t Let Titanium Scrap Go to Waste

As titanium is a valuable metal material, it is very necessary to turn what was originally low-value hazardous waste into considerable revenue, even though it is difficult to handle and recycle. If titanium chips are handled in a loose, oily, and messy state, labor costs will increase. More importantly, much of their value will be wasted during storage, transportation, and recycling.

Briquetting is a professional and efficient method for processing metal chips. The titanium briquettes produced by this process not only help meet environmental regulations and make remelting more efficient and stable, but also make the whole handling process less time-consuming, less labor-intensive, and less costly. It has become the preferred choice for professional companies.

Enerpat - Features of Titanium Briquetting Machine

A titanium chip briquetting machine doesn’t simply compress waste into a smaller size. It ensures high-density forming, so the finished briquettes are not easy to break, have a more standard shape, and reduce the material volume by more than 10 times. Our machine has high-tonnage hydraulic performance and can directly cold-press titanium chips into briquettes. The pressing process does not focus on high speed. Instead, it applies slow and continuous pressure, avoiding the heat, splashing, and wear problems caused by high-speed impact. Inside the feeding and pressing systems, there are structural designs for liquid drainage and oil collection. This means that most of the cutting fluid is separated and collected during the pressing.

Considering the safety and stability of the briquetting machine, we use Siemens/Schneider PLC control. The machine can be controlled and parameters can be adjusted through simple button and screen operations. In addition, it can be directly integrated with your existing production line, or combined with our related in-house equipment to form a complete briquetting system, providing fully automated production and wide material adaptability.

Types of Titanium Scrap Briquetting Machine

Enerpat provides briquetting machines with hydraulic pressing forces from 50 tons to 1,250 tons to pressing titanium chips. Different pressing forces mean different production capacities and different output briquette diameters. They can separate more than 95% of various cutting fluids, oils, and emulsions attached to the chips. Whether you run a small workshop with low production needs or a large company with high output and strict standards, Enerpat can meet your specific requirements.

What Do Titanium Briquettes Bring You?

The first and most obvious change is in appearance. Titanium scraps are reduced to one-tenth or even less of their original size. Hazardous waste that once filled the entire warehouse can now be stored in just one corner. This makes the environment cleaner, greatly reduces storage and management costs, and saves a large amount of money by reducing the number of transport trips.

Titanium briquettes are dry and have low oil content, while the separated expensive cutting fluid can be reused. They are also easier to sell at a higher price, and significantly reduces losses during remelting. This helps companies deal more easily with increasingly strict environmental inspections and achieve industry standards and harmless disposal.

  • Reduce worker injury risk
  • Clean workshop environment
  • Increased recycling prices
  • High remelting efficiency
  • Remove from hazardous waste series

Titanium Briquetting System

titanium briquetting Solution

A briquetting machine alone cannot handle some long, curled, and tangled titanium scrap. These materials can easily cause feeding blockages, and the forming result may also be poor. A briquetting system integrated with a shredder, centrifuge, and conveying equipment can solve these problems, making scrap handling more reliable and more standardized. The advantages of this system are that it can ensure continuous and stable feeding; basically achieve fully automatic production, greatly reduce manual intervention; improve cutting fluid recovery; and produce briquettes with a more uniform shape and higher density.

The operating process is shredding first, then centrifuging oil removal, and finally briquetting. Enerpat can customize flexibly according to the condition of the scrap and your specific requirements. If you want to reduce labor costs as much as possible, we can provide a complete set of conveying equipment. For long and seriously tangled titanium scrap, we recommend using a shredder first to cut it into short chips. If the material contains oil, we also recommend using a centrifuge to recover the oil in advance.

This automated briquetting system is becoming a trend in the machining and recycling industries. It changes the old handling method that was easy to pollute, labor-intensive, and time-consuming.

How many hours can a titanium briquetting machine run continuously?

Whether the machine can run continuously mainly depends on the temperature of the hydraulic system. When the machine is working, the hydraulic oil temperature will gradually rise. If the temperature becomes too high, the machine needs to stop and wait for cooling.

Our machine is equipped with industrial cooling equipment, which can efficiently help the hydraulic system dissipate heat and lower the temperature. It keeps the temperature within the normal range at all times, allowing the machine to run continuously for 24 hours.

In which industries are titanium briquetting systems used?

Applicable to a wide range of industries, from small businesses to large workshops, from industrial manufacturing to recycling.

  • Medical Device Manufacturing
  • 3C Electronics and Precision Components
  • Chemical and Marine Engineering Equipment
  • Automotive Parts Manufacturing
  • Metal Recycling Centers
  • Professional Machining Plants
Do I need to maintain the machine frequently?

Frequent maintenance is not required, but regular inspection are still needed to keep the hydraulic system, feeding system, and pressing chamber in good condition. You should regularly check whether the hydraulic cylinder is aging or leaking oil, and regularly clean the feeding hopper to prevent old chips from building up.

Which model of briquetting machine is right for me?

The selection depends on the material condition and production requirements. You can send us photos of the materials, their condition, and the daily processing volume, and we will recommend suitable machines or production line systems based on the actual situation.

What is the density of the pressed titanium briquettes?

Typically, the density ranges from 2500 kg/m³ to 3500 kg/m³, depending on the pressing force, the shape of the titanium scrap, and whether it has undergone degreasing treatment. High-tonnage hydraulic pressure densities can reach 3800 kg/m³ and above. Short, fine chips are easier to press into high-density briquettes.
